Museums 2
One of our Certificate Alumni at the Center for the Future of Museums, Elizabeth Merrit, brought this wonderful opportunity to our attention:
The American Alliance of Museums is recruiting applicants for a two-year Ford W. Bell Fellowship for Museums and P-12 Education. The Fellow will research, develop and implement plans for the Alliance’s initiative to integrate museums into the education and learning environments of the next era of P-12 education in the United States. The objective is to help build the next era of learning – one in which museums play a starring role by spending two years working with museums, educators, schools, futurists and learners. This will be done by creating awareness, promoting disrupting ideas, fostering dialogues as well as creating systemic change.
The alliance sees this as a significant opportunity to help shape the next educational era by exploring the boundaries of how museums can contribute to learning.
More information on the Fellowship, and the application process, is available here.
The deadline is March 14, 2016
