Life has been busy for alum Garry Golden! The founder and owner of Into the Future has been running a five-day Time Travel week for kids over the summer:

Each day we will travel through time, going deep into the past using our mineral and rocks collection for inspiration. We will learn and play with bubbles, magnets, and light prisms to understand more about the Earth and Universe.

We’ll also jump into the future — imagining what life might be like with space travel and new technologies like self-driving cars and wearable exoskeletons!

The week includes making things every day, culminating with a take home personal time capsule that families can bury or put away (in your closet!) for safe keeping until 2050.

For fall, Into the Future is offering after school futures programs across multiple grade levels.

Come learn and explore inside an engaging learning space filled with rocks, minerals, fossils, magnets, sand art, light prisms and more…
We are launching after school programs where young people will grow in their abilities to anticipate and lead change in their lives and in the world.

Future World Builders: 2nd & 3rd Graders
Each week kids imagine and build projects based on STEAM-focused, hands-on learning activities that explore connections between the natural world and technologies that may change how we live in the future.

Future Designers: 4th, 5th & 6th Graders
Young people learn to apply innovation techniques and design thinking connected to real world entrepreneurial opportunities. They will create fictional objects, new business concepts and stories that change how we see the future.

Friday Night Futurists: 6th – 8th Graders
We are building a community of young people to participate in conversations and design challenges about the future they want to see.

Friday Night Futurists: 9th – 12th Graders
