Strategic Foresight, GAO

• Responsible for the execution of GAO’s strategic planning efforts,
• Leads the coordination and integration of GAO’s strategic planning and foresight programs with other institutional management processes,
• Supports the Director of GAO’s Center for Strategic Foresight (CSF) in administering the activities of CSF, including event planning, publication production, and external liaison functions with senior-level foresight and subject matter experts from government, academia, nonprofits, and the private sector,
• Oversees the enhancement of GAO’s continuous environmental scanning and foresight program, including data analytics, planning, and process improvement, to inform and shape GAO’s agency-wide strategic plan and foresight programs,
• Conducts analysis using foresight, design thinking, and other analytical methodologies to develop and deploy improvements in GAO’s strategic plan and foresight programs, and to make recommendations to the Executive Committee and other senior executives on ways to improve the strategic planning process.
