A tiny device in a laboratory may be on the way to “beating” Moore’s Law, but perhaps not in the way that the author intends…
Growth, especially exponential growth has limits. Many are waiting on the sidelines to see Moore’s Law finally level out, the topic of cocktail party and coffee bar conversations amongst the electronics illuminata, but what if this tiny atom is it?
Imagine this is the last bit of squeeze we can put on known materials to make a transistor. Now the curve relaxes into the familiar S shape and  Kurzweil’s Singularity must take a more evolutionary progression – perhaps accelerating in thousands of years instead of decades.
Is it possible? What is the future that you see in this tiny beginning? Leave me a comment if you have an opinion!

We’ll see you in the future!
