Mark your calendars!  “Megatrend Future Day” is happening on November 9, 2012.

The Bertlesmann Stiftung Foundation presents Megatrends in Global Interaction, an event aimed at bringing together cross-disciplined thinkers and professionals.  There will be discussions on the major challenges humanity is faced with in hopes of encouraging thoughts that might ignite solutions.  The event, hosted by the University of Houston Futures Studies and the College of Engineering, will be held at the Conrad N. Hilton on campus.
Details:
Jonathan Stevens will kick off the morning by highlighting the Megatrends that are affecting us globally.  He will then open the stage to a panel of academic and industrial thought leaders for discussions with an emphasis on the future of energy.  Lunch will be complimentary, allowing attendees ample time to re-energize and network.  Following lunch, everyone will be encouraged to continue the momentum by participating in a discussion forum featuring the University of Houston Policy Debate team and industrial leaders.
For the further details, please review the following document, UH Mega trend Future Day 2012.  The event is free and online registration will begin in October.
